Joshua MacLeod, Executive Director of Watermelon Ministries, to conduct “From Passion to Provision” workshop to train artists to grow and use their artistry to serve the developing world.
Joshua MacLeod, Executive Director of Watermelon Ministries, is no stranger to the poor in the developing world. Having visited 12 countries in the last 4 years, Joshua has a passion to use his gifts and talents to serve others. He recently helped build a campaign to provide clean water to those suffering the genocide in Darfur Sudan.
“Throughout history it has been the artisan that motivates a society and bridges the gap between classes. Now more than ever, it is critical for the artisan to excel in their gifting and use that platform to serve the poor,” says MacLeod.
The travel and investment of reaching out to the needy is difficult. As a professional photographer and marketing consultant in some of the most difficult places on earth, Joshua has had to overcome fear and obstacles to use his gifting to serve. He now wants to equip other artists with the tools and lessons he’s learned.
“From Passion to Provision” is a three hour workshop for fine artists, musicians, photographers, filmmakers, designers and other creative individuals who want to grow in their craft and also serve others.
Many artisans are willing to put in the necessary work to grow, but aren’t sure where to start. This workshop gives the concrete steps of effective business practice, while at the same time remaining relevant to the artist.
At only $50 a person, this workshop is one of a kind. You don’t want to miss this rare opportunity to learn and be motivated by this amazing presentation. Participants can register online at www.seedplanted.org/passion. The event will be held on August 31 from 7-10 pm at the Spring House Family & Arts Center in Smyrna, TN – 14119 Old Nashville Highway.
